Maria Victoria Herrera Arvay

 María Victoria Herrera Arvay earned her B.A. in Literature from the Universidad Nacional de La Rioja, Argentina. She holds a Ph.D. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she taught a wide range of Spanish courses, including Latin American Literatures and Cultures, Pre-Columbian and Colonial Literature, Translation and Interpretation, and Spanish for Business. Her research focuses on Latin American literary and cultural studies, with particular attention to regionalism, poetics, and women writers.
