Part-Time Instructor of French
The French program is updating our list of qualified part-time instructors of French interested in teaching one or two language courses paid on a per-course (non-benefit) basis. The list will include candidates available for full-semester courses (pending sufficient enrollment) as well as for short-term substitute teaching opportunities should they arise.
- Duties and Responsibilities
Include teaching French language courses, holding office hours, and supporting the program in cultural and academic activities.
- Minimum Qualifications
- MA or master's 2 or equivalent degree in French (language, pedagogy [FLE], French studies, etc.) or a related field
- Must be a native or near-native speaker
- Have previous language teaching experience (high school or adults)
- Experience teaching French in a U.S. university or college
- Knowledge of multimedia and computer technologies in language teaching

Student Positions
French Language Practice Partner
Étudiant(e)s francophones de GW ! Le RGSS Language Practice Center (LPC) recherche un(e) ou deux étudiant(e)s de langue maternelle française (ou de niveau C2) pour servir comme "language partner" pendant le semestre d’automne.
- Les responsabilités/Responsibilities
- Aider les étudiants (tous niveaux) avec la grammaire, l’expression écrite, la révision de devoirs et d’examens, etc.
- Aider les étudiants à pratiquer des exposés, présentations et examens oraux (prononciation, intonation, etc.)
- Faire des conversations informelles (pour pratiquer l’expression orale et la compréhension auditive)

- Les séances du LPC auront lieu en ligne (via BBd Collaborate, Zoom, Skype, etc.).
- Notez que si vous êtes étudiant(e) international(e) avec un visa, il faudra être physiquement aux États-Unis en automne pour pouvoir être embauché(e).
