The Russian Language and Literature Program offers a major and a minor, and our language and literature courses are popular with students from across the university. From studying the works of Dostoevsky, Tolstoy and Chekhov in their original language to exploring Russian culture through film, students develop a comprehensive understanding of Russian language and literature, past and present.
Proficiency in Russian can lead to a wide variety of career paths. Many students take the opportunity to enrich their studies with immersive study abroad programs around the world.
